Mickey Mouse Playhouse and Easter Weekend

It's been so long since I've posted something on my blog. I've got to get back in the groove of things and get motivated to post more! I have been a bad Aunt lately not posting pictures of my sweetie pie! She has gotten so big and has such a little attitude now...I wonder where she gets that from??? hehe!! Here's a picture showing her little "attitude"! But she's so cute, you can't get mad at her! Well sometimes....

JK! The past couple of weekends haven't been to eventful but Lindsey, Mom, Olivia and I did go to see Mickey Mouse Playhouse Disney a couple Sundays ago, which might I add, was quite interesting. It was a little bit more stressful then I thought it was going to be. We ended up leaving before the show was over because Liv was more interested in walking up and down the stairs then watching Little Einsteins. She did LOVE seeing Mickey, Minnie and the gang! Here is a picture of her actually sitting at MMPH. I think this was before she hit the lady sitting in front of us and before she had a fit, fell to the ground, bowed her back and had a little tantrum!!!

This past weekend we were supposed to go to the lake to celebrate Easter but ended up not going because of the terrible weather. We had a horrible hail storm that damaged the lake and totaled out my dad's car. The pictures that Dad took after the storm looked like it had been snowing there all day long, there was so much ice on the ground. The power never came back on so mom and dad packed it up and headed back to Birmingham. We all had Easter at their house Saturday night, which was good. Of course Olivia had like 10 Easter baskets full of candy and toys!!!! She also got a huge blowup pool that has a slide and all sorts of cool stuff. Here's what the dining room table looked like when we walked in the front door...

The cutest toy Olivia got were "YaYa" shoes. As of late, she has been wanting to walk around in my high heels for some reason so Lindsey got her some pretend high heels for Easter. It is the cutest thing ever to see her shuffle around in the them!

Every Easter we usually have a Easter egg hunt at the lake, just for Lindsey and me...no husbands allowed! Mom and Dad will hide some money eggs along with the real eggs. Its probably the hardest and fastest I run all year long! This year we only hide the eggs for Olivia because we didn't have anywhere to hide them in mom and dads front yard, kind of a bummer but it was cute to see Olivia enjoying herself.

Hope everyone else had a good Easter! I promise I'll try to be better about keeping everyone updated on the lives of the David's, Schor's and Oakes families!!!!!
