The sweetest gift ever.....Olivia

If you are wondering.....

I am posting pictures and messages from a while back, even before Allen and I got married. I never really was able or had a chance to send all of my wedding festivity pictures out because of all the crazy and exciting events that happened in my life right after and before Allen and I got married..a.k.a Lindsey announces she's pregnant, I find out the day I get back from my honeymoon I don't have a job, then two weeks later I quit my job at EGS Commercial Real Estate to go work for Brookwood Medical Center as the Leasing and Property Manager for the medical office buildings on-site. WHOOOAAAA!!! Then Olivia is born two weeks later. To say the least I was pretty busy, stressed and sending pictures out of our wedding festivities was not high on my list. But now I can!!!!!!

Wedding Festivities

Look at Livvie on her Aunt Lauren's Bachelorette party! She already knows how to party! We had such a great time that weekend. It really made me appreciate all my friends who came to party and celebrate my last weekend as a single women before I became Mrs. John Allen Oakes, III.

My first blogging experience!

Hey everyone!

With the help of Kea Calame, I have joined the blogging world. It could easily become my new obsession. Hey, at least it doesn't cost money - my husband would be happy about that. I am so excited that I can keep up with my friends now and also I'm able to keep my friends up to date with all the exciting happenings in our every day lives. Right now the most exciting thing we've got going on in our lives is a bunny aka "Thumper" that lives in our back yard. He comes out everyone night to feast and then he burrows back into the hole he has made. Last night he was in our front yard eating the clovers that have since formed because we haven't cut our grass months. Harvey discovered this at 3:00am and started barking like a mad dog! Allen of course didn't budge so I blindly guided myself to the living room to see what was going on, expecting to find someone trying to break into our house but low and behold it was "Thumper" eating a midnight snack in our front yard. Until next time....
