Messy Madness!

Tonight, Lindsey, Blake and Olivia came over to our house to cookout. We had a fabulous time and ate some yummy food but most importantly, Olivia had a blast. After Lindsey and I gave her a bath and she was good and clean, we (the adults) ate dinner but we had to occupy Olivia while we ate. So I had the smart idea to give her a cup of "Dippin Dots", which as you can see from the above pictures, she LOVED!!!! She was a mess, Harvey was a mess and the floor was a mess but it was so cute we just couldn't take it away from her. As you can see too, she had a Popsicle that she was eating too that she occasionally gave to Harvey to take a few licks from. :) We are all stuffed and happy!

Reading at 8 Months!!!!!

Lindsey, Olivia and I ate at Sol Az Teca tonight and had a fabulous time! Olivia is obsessed with the About Town magazine. She loves looking at all the faces of the people in the magazine especially the front cover, which is a huge color photo of a different couple each month. She goes crazy and starts laughing uncontrollably when we give it to her. Tonight we gave it to her and she was the "Star" of the restaurant! The gentleman behind us came up to us as he was leaving and said, "You know, I can't stand a crying baby at restaurants but a happy baby that laughs is so enjoyable!" " Your baby is so happy and has made out dinner enjoyable!" I SWEAR we are not lying when we say that she's the happiest baby on earth and loves to ham it up for people. We are so lucky to have a "Pretty, Pretty Princess" for a neice!

Pretty Pretty Princess

A Very Unhappy Camper!

This picture was taken a couple of weekends ago and I have been meaning to post it because it is hilarious!!! Mom and Dad bought her this life jacket for boat rides on the lake but needless to say she is not going to be wearing it! She hated it!

Beach Greetings...

Lindsey and Blake are at the beach this week and as you can see from the above picture, Olivia is not with them. Lindsey sent this picture to us last night so Mom could show it to Olivia. She also sent a picture of her waving at the camera (or Olivia)! I am not so sure she'll understand but at least it made Lindsey and Blake feel better. I would think that a week by yourself and sleeping in with out any interruptions would be divine but I guess as most mothers would attest to, they are so used to seeing their little babies each day it's hard not to miss them. This picture speaks for itself!

An Oakes, Schor and David Family Update!

So, lately all we have been doing is swimming, napping and relaxing at the lake. Last weekend we were at the lake for one our good friends, Beth Clifton, wedding. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful for an outside wedding. This weekend was pretty uneventful. Lindsey, Livvie and I hanged out on Saturday and went swimming then shopping at Target. While Lindsey was trying on clothes Liv and I went shopping down the toy isle and found the cutest things and of course LaLa wanted to buy her princess everything but we settled on a Fisherprice jungle set. So cute!!!! Today, I am watching Olivia all day long (by myself for the first time!)...Lindsey and Blake left for the beach this morning for the week. Nana and Papa are going to watch her for the rest of the week and they are supposedly going on a couple of field trips like to the Zoo, The McWayne Center, golfing, and some other places. I think Papa is going to take off a few days. I'll let everyone know how that goes next week. Should be a fun filled week!
